God’s Calling
How God found a laborer for the harvest
Jessie L. Stewart was raised in the Tulsa area of North Eastern Oklahoma. In 1996, as a 19-year-old, God graciously led him to Tulsa Lighthouse Church (TLC), where he obeyed the plan of salvation and began faithfully serving God. From that time, he submitted himself to God and Pastor Gary Howard and has prepared himself to do God’s will, both spiritually and academically. He and his wife, Billy Jo, were married in 1998 and Jessie began a 20+ year leadership career in Information Technology. With a burden to reach the lost, they have both applied themselves in the local church in whatever capacity was needed. In 1999, they began holding nursing home services in Glenpool, OK. Four years later, God opened the door to assist Pastor Ed Johnson in the city of Beggs, OK, a church founded by Pastor Gary Howard in the late 60’s. During this time a thriving Sunday School program was established and the church experienced growth. In 2008, Bro Stewart served as School Administrator for TLC’s school, Lighthouse Christian Academy. While there, the Stewarts also began a daughter work in the country town of Kellyville, OK. From 2013 until today, they have served in various capacities at TLC. For some time now, God has dealt with them about missions and they have ministered in the Philippines, Taiwan, China, and Africa. In 2018, the Stewarts felt the call to the continent of Africa. After making multiple trips to minister there, they have a deep burden to see the work of God expanded in this mission field. With their two children, Ashlynn and Hayden, they have relocated to Johannesburg South Africa to fulfill God’s will as full-time missionaries.

Dreams for the Kingdom
What your support would mean for South Africa
The purchase and establishment of a headquarters presence in South Africa included sleeping and training facilities for our pastors in the southern six countries. We hope to finalize the remodel of these facilities to welcome our wonderful leaders within the next 3 years. The approximate cost for this initiative is $250,000.
