IMPORTANT CAMP INFORMATION
Cost per camper: $145
Cost per counselor/helper: $125
Registration: On-site registration starts at Noon on Monday, June 16th
Camp Picture: $10.00 Optional. Must be paid for separately at registration.
Necessities: Label all valuable items with child’s name. This will help with Lost & Found.
Snack Bar: Snack Bar will be available each day and night. The “BANK” will hold your child’s money and return any unused portion to the parent at the end of the week, if requested.
Camp Nurse: There will be a designated individual who will handle all medical issues. If your child is on medication be sure to fill out the Administering Medications form completely and label all medications as directed.
Phones & Electronic devices: MUST BE LEFT AT HOME!!!
No cell phones, radios, ipods, ipads, laptops etc…
In the event of a home emergency, please contact the designated leader from your church group to make appropriate arrangements for your child.
It is recommended that you provide your child with a mesh bag and/or a trash bag for all dirty or wet clothing returning home.
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
4 changes of clothing for night services (see dress code policy on back)
4-5 changes of play clothes for daytime activities, with play shoes
Jacket for cool evenings
BIBLE – it is recommended that you DO NOT send your child’s regular church Bible as it may be lost or damaged.
Toiletries to include:
Hair grooming supplies: comb, brush, hairpins, hairspray
Toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant
Shampoo, soap, towels, washcloths, flip flops for shower
Bedding to include:
Sleeping bag &/or sheet, blanket, and pillow
DRESS CODE
DRESS UP FOR CHURCH SERVICES EVERY EVENING
CASUAL CLOTHES ARE PERMITTED FOR DAY SERVICES
While we understand that this is a camp for children, we do want to maintain a respectful atmosphere for evening services. We do not intend for your child’s clothing to be ruined from the dusty surroundings so please provide church appropriate clothing that will not cause you hardship.
GIRLS:
Clothing should not be tight or form fitting
Sleeves should be at least ¾ length
Skirts or dresses only, no pants, shorts, gauchos, or culottes
Dress or skirt length must be well below the knee when standing OR SITTING
No splits in skirts or dresses
No inappropriate slogans or graphics on shirts or jackets
No make-up of any kind including lip gloss (clear chap stick is acceptable)
No jewelry of any kind
BOYS:
Clothing should not be tight or form fitting
Sleeves should be at least ¾ length
No sagging or excessively baggy pants
Sportswear must be modest, No shorts
No inappropriate slogans or graphics on shirts or jackets
Modest, godly haircut
No jewelry of any kind
